Boutique Collaborations

We are so excited to be a part of the Northern Grade flagship store in NYC!  Inspired by the roving marketplace, Northern Grade stock all American-made goods, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it!

For fall we sent them the Aurora Cape in a beautiful rust wool.  We dressed it up by styling it over a vintage shift dress with black boots, but it can easily be worn with your favorite black jeans for a more casual fall look.  

Northern Grade will also be stocking the Anson Dress in two colorways.  The raw-edge hemline, small side slits and drop shoulder all provide sophisticated details to a dress with beautiful drape.  We love it with boots, but it could easily be worn with open-toed sandals come spring.

Boutique Collaborations

We are so excited for our newest collaboration with Anomie in San Francisco.  The black tencel Abby Dress is perfect for upcoming holiday parties.  Its fitted waist flatters the figure while the high neck adds sophistication and the wrap style adds a hint of sensuality.  We styled ours with heels by Vince.

The Beatrice Kimono is an easy layer for fall that will transition into spring.  We styled it with our black Carter Pant and Carrie Tank.  Finally, the Ansel Dress is also available in a lovely tencel and the same shape as the Abby Dress.  Wear it with mules from No. 6, and you’ll have a dressy yet comfortable outfit.

We are thrilled to announce our newest collaborative partner here in Minnesota, Gray Gardens Home in Excelsior!  

We love the simply elegant Black Scout Top paired with wide-legged pants like our Carter Pant.  The Tan Scout Top looks just as good with white pants, your favorite jeans, or over a skirt.  The easy-to-wear Lafayette Dress looks great with your favorite pair of boots, all on its own like we styled here, or under your favorite cardigan.

The v-neck Jimmy Top, available in blush and gray, looks great with boyfriend jeans or a more tailored pant like our Meg Pant.  We styled the light gray Arcola Kimono tied together over winter whites while we left the navy Arcola Kimono open over the gray Lafayette Dress.

The gray Jagger Jacket is sure to keep you from getting cold this winter with invisible pockets and a clean finish.  We styled it with boyfriend jeans over our Shaw Tunic.

Our fall collaboration with Wilson & Willy’s is all about WOOL!  The wool pieces are made from Faribault Wool, and then sewn in our St. Paul studio, so they’re a Minnesota love letter.

The Rainey Jacket is our take on the bomber, and it’s reversible!  Wear it with the black side out like we’ve done over our Carter Pants and a cropped tank, or wear it with navy side out over your favorite tee and a pair of jeans.  Or you can style the gray Rainey Jacket with a skirt and the white Kara Tunic, wearing either side of the jacket depending on whether you want your pockets inside or out.

The Jeannie Dress comes in forest green and navy blue.  We styled the forest green Jeannie with our Camellia Fiber Co. knit hat and under the bone white Carey Cape.  We love the navy Jeannie Dress under the navy Eileen Cardigan.  It’s the perfect weight for layering this fall and winter.

Finally, we love the way the gray Carey Cape pairs over an all black ensemble like our Carter Pants and our black Ginny Sweater.

We love the ease of style at Na Nin, and they picked out some cool, easy-to-wear kimonos for their fall collaboration with us.  We love the way the long, cream Avett Kimono looks over our black Basics Tee Dress.  The short cream Lea Kimono looks awesome over our upcoming spring pieces, including the pant similar to our current Carter Pant.  

We styled the navy Avett Kimono over an upcoming spring release, and the short navy Lea Kimono we put with a pair of boyfriend jeans and a crop top.

We love the newest collaboration we did with Dandelion Post in Oakland, CA.  The beautifully fitted Razi Dress is in a stunning pale blush that we love with these white heels from Asos, but you could easily pair with any favorite shoe of yours!  

We also love the way the high-waisted Gowan Skirt skirt looks with almost anything, like this fun chunky knit sweater and black boots from Madewell.  Made from 100% tencel, this skirt will be an excellent, long-term addition to your wardrobe.    

We like the cropped Gerard Top with our upcoming Carter Pants, but it would also look great with the Gowan Skirt or your favorite pair of high-waisted jeans.  Finally, the Doon Dress is the perfect versatile piece to add to your closet.  Sold with an optional tie, this dress works well with a pair of heels for a holiday party or under your favorite jacket with boots for brunch.

Our most recent collaboration with Glide Surf Co. resulted in some perfect fall pieces.  We love the way the olive Margo Jacket looks over a cream jumper like our Billie Jumper. And the quilted cream Isabel Top looks great with a pair of high-waisted pants like our upcoming Carter Pants or your favorite pair of jeans.

Our fall collaboration with Minneapolis’ Cliche is all about easy-to-wear tops – easy to layer over, easy to throw on, easy to pair with any bottom.  The cropped Dell Top in a weaved ivory is perfect with a pair of high-waisted pants (like our Meg Pant) and a great pair of booties.  The black knit Dell Top looks good with jeans or white wide-legged pants for a dressier occasion.  

The chunky knit Blaise Top looks great with a skirt (like our black Channy Skirt or a pair of jeans.  And we love the way the rust tee version of the Blaise Top looks with a skirt and under a longer jacket like our Lola Jacket.

We had fun with cream and black for our newest collaboration with Mille.  We love the way the cream Johanna Top looks with our own olive Margot Skirt.  Its raw edge detail and textured fabric provide a sophisticated look whether you wear it with jeans or a dress it up.

The black tencel Emmy Dress looks great with boots and socks, or you can dress it up with your favorite pumps.  Finally, the quilted Klara Coat has beautiful black lining at the seams to provide a finished, polished look.  We love it with our upcoming Carter Pants and Carrie Tank.

We’re thrilled to contribute to Covet + Lou, an online boutique that specializes in functional, androgynous, and emergent clothing and goods with these three new HDH pieces. 

The Bona Kimono is one of the most comfortable pieces you could ever imagine with its soft knit material and high side slits that allow room for moving. Wear over a tank in the summer, or layer over a long sleeved top in the fall and winter. We love it with our Spring Finn & Co x HDH Belt and black Coclico flats. 

Let your body breath in the Josephine Dress, that flows nicely on any body type and acts as a great transition piece into the fall. The convenient pockets and seam details adding functionality and sophistication.  Wear as is, or create more shape in the piece by wearing with your favorite belt. We paired it with our Spring Finn & Co x HDH Belt. Worn with simple black wedge heels from Sven.

The Tallien Dress can easily be your new “little black dress” since it can be worn from day to night. The wrap style is accommodating for many body types as it can be adjusted to however you like. The pockets add a casual and practical component to the garment, while the silky material is becomes appropriate in a more formal setting. We accessorized with a pair of black wedge heels, our The Things We Keep x HDH Linus Cuff, and our Primecut x HDH clutch. (An oldie, but a favorite!)
