We’re thrilled to contribute to Covet + Lou, an online boutique that specializes in functional, androgynous, and emergent clothing and goods with these three new HDH pieces. 

The Bona Kimono is one of the most comfortable pieces you could ever imagine with its soft knit material and high side slits that allow room for moving. Wear over a tank in the summer, or layer over a long sleeved top in the fall and winter. We love it with our Spring Finn & Co x HDH Belt and black Coclico flats. 

Let your body breath in the Josephine Dress, that flows nicely on any body type and acts as a great transition piece into the fall. The convenient pockets and seam details adding functionality and sophistication.  Wear as is, or create more shape in the piece by wearing with your favorite belt. We paired it with our Spring Finn & Co x HDH Belt. Worn with simple black wedge heels from Sven.

The Tallien Dress can easily be your new “little black dress” since it can be worn from day to night. The wrap style is accommodating for many body types as it can be adjusted to however you like. The pockets add a casual and practical component to the garment, while the silky material is becomes appropriate in a more formal setting. We accessorized with a pair of black wedge heels, our The Things We Keep x HDH Linus Cuff, and our Primecut x HDH clutch. (An oldie, but a favorite!)

We shipped two new HDH pieces to Maven Boutique in San Diego: the Copper Dress and the Alex Top! We love the dark wash denim look of the Copper Dress and how it can easily be dressed up or down. Styled above with the Copper Dress is an Another Feather necklace and black summer heels for a more formal look.

The Alex Top is a lovely tank that can be worn for all of summer and through fall and winter with your favorite cardigan or jean jacket due to its soft and slightly thicker cotton material. For a light and neutral look, we styled the Alex Top with HDH’s Afton Pant, and accessorized with a pair of beige Sven clogs and a Tiro Tiro necklace.

Hello Californians! Legion is a San Francisco based boutique that will soon carry two unique HDH pieces, each offered in a couple of colors. Locals and visitors, keep your eyes peeled 🙂

The Palmer Dress comes in black and taupe, both comfortable and easy to wear. The stitching at the bottom acts as a unique accent to the simple and versatile dress. Styled with the Palmer Dress is a TiroTiro necklace along with taupe Franco Sarto flats. 

The Cooper Top comes in navy and gray, both extremely light and soft–perfect for summer. We love the longer drop in the back that can be seen when wearing untucked such as the look we created above with black skinny jeans and black Pons sandals. For a different look, we tucked the gray top into our Ballard Skirt, and accessorized with a TiroTiro necklace.

Hello Oregon! We’re excited to release the Maia Top and Celaeno Top at Seven Sisters, a Portland-based boutique that emphasizes simplicity, carefully made, and ethically-produced pieces. Not only do these tops fall under each of these categories, but they are also easy to wear and offered in two styles: the Maia Top is cropped, while the Celaeno Top is slightly longer, falling at the hips. We love the neutral rust checked pattern, adding a hint of personality. Styled with these tops above are black skinny jeans, black Pons, and black Birkenstocks.

We’re thrilled to send two new pieces to Stripe, a group of creative professionals based in Santa Cruz, who sell affordable and hand-picked clothing, accessories, and home goods. 

For those in the area, keep your eyes peeled for the Suna Tank and Dana Dress. The Suna Tank is a light and versatile top with darts on the sides to create a slightly more fitted look. Its longer length works well with a pair of longer and tighter bottoms, as we paired it with black distressed skinny jeans and classic black Pons Avarcas.

The Dana Dress is another classic piece that can be worn casually during the day or worn out at night in a more formal setting. We chose to accessorize this black dress with navy Sven heels and a Baggu clutch that we got our hands on from our friends at Wilson & Willy’s.

Our Dani Dress is a unique but classic dress. Its fitted shape is classy and sophisticated, while the patches of white and silvery cream material put a subtle twist to the garment. Wear to this summer’s formal event and wear again in a more casual setting. We paired the Dani Dress with a pair of casual white sandals from Need Supply Co. 

The Connie Dress can be worn the rest of summer and into fall as well with its warm mauve color and longer length. The wrap and tie feature accentuates the waist while also adds a feminine flare. We paired the Connie Dress with a pair of neutral Sven clogs. 

We’re sending quite the collection of HDH pieces to Gather Home + Lifestyle this week, so if you’re in Chicago, you’re in luck! They will be launching their exclusive HDH Collection this Friday, July 10th!  They’ll be hosting a launch party from 5-8pm at their shop located at 2321 West North Avenue in Chicago.  And there will be an exclusive gift with purchase: the limited edition Prairie Fire scent we developed with our friend Kate from Na Nin!

The Faye Top is an easy black top, made with a soft knit material that makes it a great transition piece from summer to fall. Worn with the Faye Top is black skinny jeans, black Sven clogs, a black hat from Janessa Leone, and a delicate necklace by Another Feather.

Lastly is our Jayne Kimono, made of a comfy cotton material–another great transition piece from summer to fall. Kick back at home in this comfy outfit topper, or wear it when running errands down Michigan Ave. We paired the Jayne Kimono with our grey Solara Dress and a pair of white slip-ons from Top Shop.

Dear Minnesota friends, we are introducing seven new pieces with our neighbors at Grethen House, a family-run boutique based in Edina and Minneapolis! 

The light green Eton Dress is extremely comfortable and easy to move around in with its wide sleeves and looser fit. The stitching in the front is a subtle yet delicate and lovely addition to the piece. Paired with the Eton Dress are taupe flats from Franco Sarto.

The Mackey Dress is a flattering navy dress that wraps at the waist and hits just below the knee. It may be a longer dress, but its lightweight material is guaranteed to keep you cool throughout summer. We paired this dress with a pair of white Sven clogs to add extra height. 

With some nautical undertones, the Drexel Dress and Arden Dress are perfect dresses or coverups for your next beach trip. We paired the black and white striped Drexel Dress with our Brookes Boswell x HDH Straw Hat and accessorized the navy striped Arden Dress with a straw basket to carry the picnic lunch! 

The Casco Top is available in two materials: a charcoal and a faded navy stripe. Similar to the Mackey Dress, this wrap and tie style is flattering on a plethora of body types and works great with skinny jeans. 

The Pershing Top, made of a navy linen material, is unique with its V-neck and bell-shaped sleeves, but is still simple enough to be your go-to top in the morning. We paired it with a pair of casual skinny jeans and brown Sven heels. 

Last, but not least, is our Halifax Top that is available in a grey and a white stripe. This top’s asymmetrical silhouette looks great over your favorite pair of leggings or skinny jeans!

We’re thrilled to pass over a couple of new pieces to our friends at Fine Life Co., an online shop specializing in hand-crafted goods for women, most to all of them made in the United States by talented makers. 

We have sent over the Cara Dress and the Casella Dress, two different, but lovely, pieces for the summer.

We love all of the small details in the Cara Dress including its thin straps, high neckline, and fine textured material. Its fitted shape and pale blue-grey color makes for a clean and sophisticated look. Here we paired it with white peep-toe Sven clogs and our Gamma Folk x HDH: No. 43 Necklace from our Makers Alongside series.

We paired the comfortable Casella Dress with a pair of black sandals from Need Supply Co. to keep it simple. Choose to wrap the tie around the waist, or opt to leave it out for a looser silhouette.

We sent six new HDH items to Cloth + Label including four dresses and two tops–all perfect for the hot summer weather! 

We love the ease of the black Carreen Dress and striped Scarlett Dress, both super easy to slip into on a really hot day. We are also fans of the contrasting straps, which we accentuated by picking similarly colored shoes. Worn with the black Carreen Dress is a pair of white Sven clogs and with the striped Scarlett Dress is a pair of black sandal Svens. 

The Vivien Dress, available in both a fine black-and-white striped pattern, and also a grey, is another easy dress to wear throughout summer, providing slightly more coverage on the shoulders with its thicker straps. Worn with the black Vivien Dress is a pair of black Sven sandals, and with the grey Vivien Dress, a pair of classic black Sven clogs. 

The Hattie Top is available in both a striped material and a grey material. Between its thin straps, and its shorter cropped cut, you’re ready for the sun at your local baseball team’s next game! Wear with your favorite high-waisted denim shorts, or dress them up with trousers as we did above, with a pair of black gaucho trousers and HDH’s tencel Afton Pant. As a plus, these tanks are guaranteed not to take up too much room in your closet 🙂
