Today we are introducing 4 new colors and 2 new styles to our HDH Basics collection! You might recognize the Striped, Baked Clay, and Camel colors from our most recent SS18 Collection but we also added a fun, seasonal light blue denim fabric as well that screams Spring! The 2 new HDH Basics styles include the Smock Dress and the Dolman Sleeve Tee. The Smock Dress has a simple crew-neck and a dolman sleeve that hits slightly below the elbow. Since it has a more relaxed fit, it drapes naturally and beautifully over nearly any body type. The Dolman Sleeve Tee is essentially the top-version of the Smock Dress, so will have that same looser-fitting comfy feel. The Smock Dress and Dolman Sleeve Tee are available in both straight and plus sizes!

Each piece from the collection is offered in sustainable black tencel and white tencel blends, however we occasionally offer them in additional fabrics and colors available seasonally. Take a closer look at our Easy Kimono that was recently released in April! We love its relaxed fit that drapes beautifully over nearly anything and how both the black tencel and white cotton chevron are super lightweight and easy to travel with. We called it the Easy Kimono for a reason! Below are two casual looks on Chelsie, featuring casual boyfriend jeans/Lisa’s mom’s old jeans (!!) and our Basics Easy Tapered Pant with an elastic waist.

This month we released 4 new HDH Basics styles, one of them being the Double V-Top. Its boxy fit works well on a range of body types, and ensures comfort! We also love the relaxed look of the dropped shoulder and some of the hidden details such as the center seam and the subtle V-neck in the back. Wear with a pair of skinny jeans to contrast the top’s looser-fit style, or pair with a wide-leg pant such as our Raw Finish Wide-Leg Trouser (as photographed above).

Sticking to the theme of simplicity and easiness, we paired our Basics pieces with items that most anyone would have in their closet such as an old pair of jeans and your favorite cotton t-shirt. We strongly believe that HDH Basics pieces are the building blocks of any wardrobe, and are meant to last, which means similar to those old jeans and cotton t-shirt of yours, they can be that go-to piece, worn on a multitude of occasions!  Although some Basics pieces speak for themselves, such as the Easy Wide-Leg Jumper, the outfitting combinations and opportunities are truly endless.
