After receiving feedback from customers on our face masks, we’ve added a few additional versions. Some have ties versus elastic around the ears, and some now have pockets for a filter to be inserted. We’ve also partnered with a local nonprofit to raise awareness and funds for the Domestic Abuse Project (DAP).
During this pandemic, it has become more important than ever to raise awareness of domestic violence and provide funding for those organizations who help families affected by it. DAP is committed to serving the Twin Cities community with innovative and effective therapeutic programming to end the inter-generational cycle of domestic violence. They have made it their mission to build communities free from violence by providing holistic healing for every member of the family. We will be donating 10% of all mask sales to the Domestic Abuse Project.
In response to police brutality, we will also be participating in Still We Rise’s 9th auction from June 20th-29th. We will be donating our Short Tiered Dress to raise money and awareness for:
Equal Justice Initiative
The Bail Project
Black Lives Matter
In addition, we will match our auction winner’s donation. You can also read more about how we are working to incorporate anti-racist practices in our business model here.
